Description
Made from the twig of the salvadora persica tree (arāk tree), Yagut’s siwāk or miswāk are hygienically packed and vacuum sealed to ensure quality and freshness.
From the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the use of siwāk is greatly advocated and has been practiced for more than 1400 years in the Islamic world. Though twigs from variety of trees can be used, twigs from the arāk tree are considered most superior.
“ لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ”
Abu Hurairah narrated that :
Allah’s Messenger said: “If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the siwāk for each prayer.”
