Poem of the Mantle or Qaṣīdat al-Burdah is an ode in praise of our most beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم composed by the eminent Sufi, Imām Sharafuddīn Abī ‘Abdillāh Muhammad bin Sa’īd Al-Buṣīrī of Egypt. The poem, whose actual title is al-Kawākib al-Durrīya fī Madḥ Khayr al-Barīya (“Glittering Stars in Praise of the Best of Creation”), is in its  entirety, praises of Habibullah Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم , who is said to have cured the poet of stroke by appearing to him in a dream and wrapping him in a mantle or scarf.
